This Aura-Soma Foundation Course is a wonderful way to start.

This is the first course within the Aura-Soma training. It is a fascinating and fun course which introduces you to the Aura-Soma world of colour, and will also invite you to meet yourself in a new way.

Course Content

• The principles of Aura-Soma as a non-intrusive self-selective system.
• What Aura-Soma is and how it came about.
• Colour theory. Primary, secondary, tertiary and complementary colours.
• Visible and invisible spectrums.
• Sympathetic resonance as a key to restoring balance.
• The language of colour. The messages of colour at various levels.
• Consultation procedure and interpretation of colour selections.
• The colour relationships between the Equilibrium bottles selected.
• Guidelines for making recommendations based on the client's selection.
• Introduction to the Aura-Soma products and guidelines for their usage.
• An exploration of the specific messages and interrelationships of many of the colour combinations within the Equilibrium range.
• Demonstration and practical work with a hand massage technique.
• Demonstration and practical work with the aura and subtle energies.


Aims of the course

The primary objective of the Foundation course is to introduce the student to the philosophy of Aura-Soma. It provides information about the tools offered within the Aura-Soma and gives practice in interpreting the colour bottles.
It is a fun and enjoyable way to connect with the language of colour and discover a whole new way of being in the world.


Sue Shattock is an experienced Teacher of Aura-Soma. She trained with Vicky Wall in 1989 and has been a teacher with Aura-Soma for over 10 years.
Sue works with all aspects of colour, healing and health and practices yoga. She writes articles and poetry and has written scripts for television shows including episodes of 'The Bill' and 'Emmerdale'. She is a video film maker specialising in complimentary health programmes.

Sue's also a gentle therapy practitioner and is a trustee/helper for the charity ‘New Approaches to Cancer’. She works in London, Surrey and Sussex.
