What is Aura-Soma?

Aura-Soma is a non-intrusive, self-selective soul therapy. 'You are the colours that you choose' said Vicky Wall, creator of Aura-Soma Colour.

Sue Shattock offers consultation in Surrey and Sussex and also offers a tailor made service that includes a consultation in your own home.  Contact Sue on sue@colourcafe.net for details.

The Consultation
An Aura-Soma colour consultation gives us as individuals an opportunity to recognise our true selves at a very deep level, to become aware of the many gifts we have to offer and the challenges we have chosen to face and overcome. It is a light    and positive therapy and is suitable for all.

When coming for a consultation, you will be invited to choose four rainbow coloured 'Equilibrium' bottles from a selection of up to one hundred - the bottles that you are most attracted to. This is an important part of the consultation, where you as an individual take responsibility for your choice, the practitioner will then help you explore what has been revealed through your colour selection.

Aura-Soma gets to the heart of an issue, it can assist in accessing your potential and help correct subtle imbalances that underlie dis-harmony. A consultation focuses on positive awareness - it does not diagnose or treat, but it can gently pin point areas of the body, mind and spirit that are in need of love and attention - your love and attention.

Follow Up Sessions
These sessions will be shorter in duration and will provide an opportunity for support and discussion after a period of working with the 'Equilibrium' bottle of choice. It may then be relevant to offer different aspects of gentle energy work depending on individual need. A new bottle may be chosen at this time.

One of the best ways to experience the wonder of Aura-Soma is through a consultation. Here are some comments of people who have found the benefits of Aura-Soma colour.

CASE STUDY 1
Carolyn, 30, is a massage therapist and Reiki master practicing in Central London.

"I was having problems getting my business off the ground and felt a bit stuck. As the practitioner talked me through the colours I had chosen, I could really relate what she was saying to my life.

The first bottle represented ancient wisdom. The second to expressing oneself, being more communicative and putting what you'd learnt out there. The third indicated a need to ground myself. The fourth, light blue and violet, which are very healing colours, suggested listening to my inner voice.

Afterwards I felt a renewed energy and enthusiasm, which I channeled into the business. I also stopped worrying so much. I just knew that it was all going to work out and it did. The business is going really well now.

I had another consultation six months later, when I was trying to decide whether to work in a clinic. I think it helped clarify what I already felt and knew, which was to stay in my own practice. I just needed confirmation, because it's easy to be pushed, by stress and other pressures, into doing something you don't really want to do."

CASE STUDY 2
Angela, a 50-year-old carer and painter, lives in Brighton. She felt she had lost her direction in life after her husband, and the elderly man she was caring for, both died.

"The Aura-Soma practitioner seemed to know so much about me and what I was feeling, through the colours I'd chosen. It really was incredible, and I thought such a lot about what she'd said afterwards.

I'd had a lot of hang-ups about my painting, I was more concerned about what other people thought about my work than doing what I wanted to do, and the treatment helped me open up, stop worrying and just let my ideas flow.

I discovered that my painting was the healing process I'd been looking for. I've been experimenting with lots of new ideas since my treatment four months ago; there's a lot more emotion in my painting now, and it has helped me work through my grief.

I feel so much better in myself, and I hope that other people will also get healing from looking at my paintings."
